Morning all! Just getting us started! James had another good night. I really think the probiotics help. Hoping to get a run in this AM before going to a family bbq to eat German food. I plan on just taste testing but if its really good, I may eat too much.

BBL!

Christine~ I sent you a PM yesterday. Let me know if you didn't get it.

I got 8 hours of sleep last night! I don't feel any different, but my scale moved to the left a again. That feels good, but if I lose any more my clothes won't fit me...so I'm not sure how I feel about that. I want to be lighter for my running performance...but I don't want to buy new clothes. Hmm..... I've never been able to MAINTAIN a lighter than 135lb lifestyle, so we'll see.

Girls are fussy...we're going to try to go to God's House.....BBL

Melanie- Yes, got the PM and want to send you the same info from my end and hope to do it tiday! I am excited! Woo hoo! Glad that you got the sleep. I hear you about lower than 135. I like the thrill of being below it, but it is too light for me below 135. Weird, right? Hope you have a great day!
Jen- Eat some for me! Yummy! And, I am so glad that the probiotics help. I ran out and forgot to give them to john for a few days and the gas started again!
Lisa- I hear you on the not taking the time for yourself. I do that a lot. YEsterday I stood up for myself and walked out the door to go on a run and was SHOCKED that he was actually cooking noodles for Jimmy for lunch. He was useful!!!
Have to run, BBL!

The beer didn't go down yesterday. So it's dark beer that helps with milk? I cannot stand beer...but thought I'd go for it for my wee-ones. We had Michelob (sp?) bottled beer. Is there are low calories light tasting beer that someone might be able to suggest for me?

Christine~ glad you got the PM. A person has to know to look up there to know that have a message....wasn't sure if you were a looker. Yeah to DH cooking noodles. My DH is much better than he was with other kiddos; but he fishes ALL THE TIME...as ya'll know...he's AWOL alot more than he should be. I shouldn't be complaining though...yesterday he was home all day (the lake is unsafe to drive on now & fishing will be slow until boat season opens). PLUS he's going to church this AM with me AND he'll have to watch the kids while I attempt my long run.

I hope to run 8 miles today (training schedule). My personal goal is just going to be 7 miles though. I hope I don't sound wimpy...but I don't want to not reach my goal again, it's tough on the ego....I'm so goal orientated and feel like a real loser when I don't reach my goals....so I work hard to set realistic goals so I can reach them. If I go over, I feel like superwoman. lol I slept 8 hours but still feel overtired. Not sure what's going on....except my increase workload might take a bit to get used to.

Alrighty, best get going! I'm having fun trying on all my "skinny" clothes today. lol

Either Michelop or Miller make a 64 calorie beer. IT does not taste great but is low calorie. A beer that I like, is Blue Moon. I pour it in a glass and squeeze a slice of orange into it. Since you are not a huge fan of beer, is there any other way to get the hops? I wonder if there is a natural food store that carries it? I sent you a PM back. It is funny that you said that, I NEVER look up there and I did for some reason! Yay! Glad that the river is thawing, no more AWOL hubby! Have a great time trying on skinny clothes. I put on my pre preg skinny jeans yesterday adn was so proud, I even put on jewelry, hubby was excited to see me not wearing sweats!
John is doing well at night. He goes down between 7:30 and 8:30 at night and eats around 2am, gets up between 5:30am or 6:30am... I do not mind getting up early most days... My eyes are burning today though. I was so tired. Everyone here was last night.
Jen - I really want to start my STS since you and Susan are ravign about it, after I finish Charlean. I have a smaller house, so I do not bring the barbell in and jsut use the heavy dumbbels, probably why I veer towards the CTX. Do you have all teh equipment, do you find it hard to ammend the moves?
Priscilla- Hope you had a great night!
Lisa- Hope you get a great workout in today.
Susan- Get home already!

CHristine; For the first meso, all you need is band, stablitly ball, barbell and dumbbells. I don't do the chinup/pullups and just use our bowflex and do lat pulldowns which seems to work just fine. I use the bench as my chair except for the sit n stands which i didnt like anyway and just did lunges. my w/o room is small but so far it has been working fine. I love blue moon! i usually have michelob ultra if i have a beer. i'm not a fan of dark beer.

I hope you acheive your 7 mi and more! I hear ya on the personal goals. I get frustrated easily too when it comes to mad goals i set in my head. someone told me it was dark beer that helps (old wives tale) but i don't know if its true.

Thats funny that all of us hover around 135. I dont like the way i look any lighter than that. if i put on more muscle i would be pleased with 140. ok off to family event. bbl!

I always end up posting Sunday morning on last weeks thread. anyway,...
The thread title this week...I think Sugar Mama when I read it

Glad to hear the scale is still moving for you, Melanie! Feeling like a wimp with 7miles? Not even close. You have 5kids, work long days, and rock the workouts--you will never be a wimp in my book!

Christine-isn't the skinny jean feeling great?! I'll get there again someday....it's been a huge test of my patience having not lost a bit in 5 weeks (and still just 2lbs less than the day I came home!).

I did IMAX2 and CLX Extreme Abs today. It's sunny and 50ish today, warm by March in MN standards, so I hope to take Caden for a walk later if I can leave Reese w dh.

Jen- I am such a fan of blue moon. MMMMMM. Do you put orange in yours? I might have one right now!
Melanie- I am the same way. I set huge goals and then get down when I do not meet them. Like the others said, You are an inspiration and strong and making it happen. I could not do half of what you do. Hopefully you had a great run, poop free!
Lisa- Sounds like you had a good workout, good! Did you get a walk in?
Family run today, about 7 miles. I came home and did Squeeze Stronger Upper Body and then an Ab video that works but is lame. DH said it was the aerobic equivalent of a homemade porno. THanks honey. THat makes it much easier to finish. It was filmed in teh early 90s. You know the kind, with weird people in a lot of make up doign abs on carpet? It works but now it is tainted for me because I see these people and can only think porn. So back to CoreMax and CLX!
Off to have lunch and try to be less grumpy!

Well, I got back from my six miler. Ugh. I had to run/walk much of it. I dunno what's happening, I"m getting worse not better. I will need to take it down more this week maybe? Maybe it's b/c of increased working hours? Urgh.

Mel- are you dehydrated? Dh and I notice we struggle and our heart rates get too high when we are dehydrated. I was today and had a hard ti
e and my heart rate was high 170s and is usuLly 150s for a 9 min pace. I know you are bummed but be proud you did it. We are for you. Nap for you if you work tomorrow! Also, when I get below 135, I have a hard time with endurance. Have you ever had that happen?
