The weekends are slow around here, eh?

Well, Ms. Busy didn't relax as much as she should have. It seems to be too early to be nesting.....LOL

We dropped a lot of stuff over at my friends for her garage sale, then off to church, to the sunflower batch to take pics of the little boys, home for pizza & a little nap, painted the other dressor, did 2 loads of laundry, and then went through my infant boy clothes & priced for garage sale. Alas, about 6pm I started getting back pains, followed by strong braxton hicks contractions. I"m so mad at myself for working so much today. I did take a nap though, and at least 2 rests throughout the day (more than I get during a work day).

*Sigh* back to work tomorrow. Then two days off.

Wendy, any progress on your Dad,....been praying for you, girl!

Susan, keep us posted on your appt

Christine, any more offers on the house? Love your bump by the way (on facebook)

Jen, did you bake anything today? LOL Everything set for baby?

Allison & Dawn, you two are soooooooo close!!!!!

Precilla, is our nausea completely gone? Last week I vomited a couple times & used Zofran for most the week. Prior to that I had a break though & still much better than first 16 weeks!

Cee, your nursery all done?

Raciela , keeping up with workouts?

Kristine, how was your week?

Well......I hope I didn't forget anyone! Waves to all!!!!

Hi everyone! I know I haven't posted much lately-I've only been posting on FB to give updates on dad. Thank you sooo much for all your kind words-I'm just sooo tired of only having negative things to say that I just don't like posting much on these forums b/c I just sound so depressing.

Good news is I went to the specialist on Wednesday and baby looks good - measuring 5 days ahead. Only 6 weeks to go. Because of my clotting disorder he wants to be better safe than sorry so wants me to come in 2x a week now so it's back to the Dr. again tomorrow.

I've been reading from last week and catching up and it seems like other than the "O so fun" pregnancy discomforts that everyone is doing pretty well. We're all getting closer and I wish everyone the best.

Have a great week everyone

Wow, its slow here today!
HI Wendy-good to see you. Know that you can be negative here all you need to! 6 weeks to go for us..yaayyyyy.

Dr visit went fine. Kara's head is down and looks great. My bp was 100/70...and I weighed 135 exactly. I will start going every week now. Dr said if he had to guess she weighs about 5lbs and would probably hit around 7. Haley was 6.15

Off to get Miss Haley.
Waves to everyone!

Hey ladies! I apologize beforehand but this is going to be a venting post. I was called out AGAIN for my job until three am. I made a decision to speak to my boss about removing me from the on call rotation earlier than our agreed upon date of 10/1 because it is so exhausting. I am not getting sleep as it is and then to be woken up in the middle of the night and have to work is hard. So I had a conversation with her which didn't go well. I am just aggravated with my job right now. My boss did agree to pull me from rotation but not without being pissy (sorry for the lack of better word) about it. I confronted her on it and we worked it out but something is still bothering me about it. I'm not looking for any advice but thought it would help if I got it out. Thanks for listening!

On a better note, I baked four loaves of banana bread yesterday and already ate three of them! No, just kidding! But I have eaten too much bread! It is so yummy and so NOT healthy. Oh well...I'm at the end at this point. I got a TON more clothes from my friend at work and a car seat base today! I am going to sit and go through the clothes tonight.

Susan- Yay for a great appointment! I still think its so funny because I weighed 135 when I started this pregnancy and think "What is so wrong with that weight?" Hee hee....

Melanie- Be careful with not getting enough rest! I would that your dr would force it upon you! Take breaks! Your beautiful girls need to bake in there!

Wendy- I am so happy to hear that all is well with your baby! Take care of yourself! You are such a trooper!

Waves to all! I am off to bed early tonight after a warm bath.

Hello there! Ok I'm back again. I am so busy it's not even funny, working full time, 2 toddlers in the house & one on the way, WOW! Im surprised I can still sit in the computer. My husband thinking to try for another one but I just don't think I can do it, specially I'm the one that do most of the job (grrr)
I did my workout this am, run 2 miles TM then did my chest. I don't know about you guys but my foot arch bothered me so much when I run. Any suggestion to help me, new shoes maybe?

bundnek~ hi there. LOL Yes, life is busy....and when we're pg everything seems to be harder. I don't have any advice on the foot thingie...you can try new shoes,...it certainly wouldn't hurt.

Jen~I"m honored that you feel comfortable to vent with us. Work can be so frustrating.....and noone can blame you for wanting to be off of "on call". Hope you were able to rest.

Susan~ Kara is in launching position? LOL 7lbs is perfect!!!!

Wendy~ You're getting so close too. You have to take care of yourself....you have sooooooo much on your plate & we don't want you to have premature labor! (hugs)(hugs)

I have TWO days off. Yeah!!!!

bundenek- feel free to PM me, I have had a ton of feet problems, sounds like plantar fascitis, had it with my first pregnancy. The best thing you can do is get orthotics, solves it overnight. It gets worse as your feet stretch from relaxin and weight and the orthotics are awesome, but can be as much as 300 bucks. Mine actaully improved my life so much, that my husband got some. Or, if cost is an issue, get stabilizing sneakers for over pronating, and at night, roll a tennis ball under your foot or a frozen bottle of water. Ahhh. Stretch your calves a lot. The pressure from teh achilles heel to the tendon in your foot is very sensitive.
Jen- I cannot beileve how muc hyou are enduring with no rest! I am satan with no sleep. Remember that your assertion today is just an example of what a great mom you will be. Nobody will play mena in the sandbox with you. I have not been around much, but this is a hard time. As birth comes near for the first one, it is so scary. I cried a lot. I hope you know that we are all here for you, and that is what is unique. I did this alone the first time and had no idea anybody else cried! I cry every night!!!!!
Melanie- So glad the twins are healthy and thriving, but they need mommy to take a load off and relax! HOpe you get some rest one of these days... And I am green with envy that you are delivering early!
Susan- Haley will be a great big sister, and it sounds like you have the end in sight here! 135! That was my start weight and i thought I was a hottie there! Wish I could see it again!
Wendy- I have followed you on facebook, adn am so sorry that you are enduring yoru dad's health issues. It must be exhausting. I hope that you are able to fidn peace in bringing him to health in the form of a little baby soon! So sorry about all you are going through.
Dawn- You are so close! Can you belive it? You are looking great.
Priscilla- I love your sea world photos, you are also looking terrific and soudns really well.
okay, hello to all the preggos I may have missed. I have been here, but not that involved, and i am sorry for that. My husband moved up north today. He will be home occasionally on weekends, so we are in a tough time. Gald you are all here. I will be better about communicating!

Hi, ladies!! We've been having internet problems, so I was out of touch with the world wide web for a few days (whatever did we do before the internet?!?!).

Jen, your bump looks so cute! I STILL haven't taken any bump pics -- guess I need to do that before the Boy comes. Yum, banana bread. We are big fans in this house

Susan, sounds like Kara is getting ready to go!

Melanie, I can't believe how much you tried to do this weekend. I'm glad you took a few naps and rested a bit -- sounds like you might need to rest a bit more, especially given how difficult your work weeks are.

Wendy, great news about the baby! I'm still very sorry to hear about your dad's health; I can't imagine how stressful that is on you and your family. How is Brooke doing? Is she getting more excited?

I had my 37 week appt. today. Doc says Boy doesn't seem ready to come out yet. His head was down at my 7/31 ultrasound, but doc says I'm barely dilated. On the plus side, sounds like he won't try to come out during the holiday weekend (my OB will be out of town)

DH has finally been working on the nursery (the ceiling/wall repair). He should be done spackling this week, and painting this weekend. Then we can set up the furniture and I can finish the laundry!! I cannot find our swing anywhere (I hope it's at my parents' house), but have found everything else. I really *did* keep everything, which is a wonderful financial help this time!
