Hi Ladies,
Hope everyone has had a good day. The weather here was awesome....its so nice to feel a cool breeze for a change! Been hanging out with dh and Haley today and made a big pot of soup.
Last night brx hx woke me up 4 or 5 times....never had that happen before. I go to the dr tomorow at 1 so I'll be sure to ask him about all thexe ctx I have been having.
No workout today.
Melanie-I hope you rested today!
I am about to go sit on my behind for the rest of the evening.
Waves to everyone. See ya tomorrow! :)

The weekends are slow around here, eh?

Well, Ms. Busy didn't relax as much as she should have. It seems to be too early to be nesting.....LOL

We dropped a lot of stuff over at my friends for her garage sale, then off to church, to the sunflower batch to take pics of the little boys, home for pizza & a little nap, painted the other dressor, did 2 loads of laundry, and then went through my infant boy clothes & priced for garage sale. Alas, about 6pm I started getting back pains, followed by strong braxton hicks contractions. I"m so mad at myself for working so much today. I did take a nap though, and at least 2 rests throughout the day (more than I get during a work day).

*Sigh* back to work tomorrow. Then two days off. :D

Wendy, any progress on your Dad,....been praying for you, girl!

Susan, keep us posted on your appt

Christine, any more offers on the house? Love your bump by the way (on facebook)

Jen, did you bake anything today? LOL Everything set for baby?

Allison & Dawn, you two are soooooooo close!!!!!

Precilla, is our nausea completely gone? Last week I vomited a couple times & used Zofran for most the week. Prior to that I had a break though & still much better than first 16 weeks!

Cee, your nursery all done?

Raciela , keeping up with workouts?

Kristine, how was your week?

Well......I hope I didn't forget anyone! Waves to all!!!!

Hi everyone! I know I haven't posted much lately-I've only been posting on FB to give updates on dad. Thank you sooo much for all your kind words-I'm just sooo tired of only having negative things to say that I just don't like posting much on these forums b/c I just sound so depressing.

Good news is I went to the specialist on Wednesday and baby looks good - measuring 5 days ahead. Only 6 weeks to go. Because of my clotting disorder he wants to be better safe than sorry so wants me to come in 2x a week now so it's back to the Dr. again tomorrow.

I've been reading from last week and catching up and it seems like other than the "O so fun" pregnancy discomforts that everyone is doing pretty well. We're all getting closer and I wish everyone the best.

Have a great week everyone

Wow, its slow here today!
HI Wendy-good to see you. Know that you can be negative here all you need to! 6 weeks to go for us..yaayyyyy.

Dr visit went fine. Kara's head is down and looks great. My bp was 100/70...and I weighed 135 exactly. I will start going every week now. Dr said if he had to guess she weighs about 5lbs and would probably hit around 7. Haley was 6.15

Off to get Miss Haley.
Waves to everyone!

Hey ladies! I apologize beforehand but this is going to be a venting post. I was called out AGAIN for my job until three am. I made a decision to speak to my boss about removing me from the on call rotation earlier than our agreed upon date of 10/1 because it is so exhausting. I am not getting sleep as it is and then to be woken up in the middle of the night and have to work is hard. So I had a conversation with her which didn't go well. I am just aggravated with my job right now. My boss did agree to pull me from rotation but not without being pissy (sorry for the lack of better word) about it. I confronted her on it and we worked it out but something is still bothering me about it. I'm not looking for any advice but thought it would help if I got it out. Thanks for listening!

On a better note, I baked four loaves of banana bread yesterday and already ate three of them! No, just kidding! But I have eaten too much bread! It is so yummy and so NOT healthy. Oh well...I'm at the end at this point. I got a TON more clothes from my friend at work and a car seat base today! I am going to sit and go through the clothes tonight.

Susan- Yay for a great appointment! I still think its so funny because I weighed 135 when I started this pregnancy and think "What is so wrong with that weight?" Hee hee....

Melanie- Be careful with not getting enough rest! I would that your dr would force it upon you! Take breaks! Your beautiful girls need to bake in there!

Wendy- I am so happy to hear that all is well with your baby! Take care of yourself! You are such a trooper!

Waves to all! I am off to bed early tonight after a warm bath.

Hello there! Ok I'm back again. I am so busy it's not even funny, working full time, 2 toddlers in the house & one on the way, WOW! Im surprised I can still sit in the computer. My husband thinking to try for another one but I just don't think I can do it, specially I'm the one that do most of the job (grrr)
I did my workout this am, run 2 miles TM then did my chest. I don't know about you guys but my foot arch bothered me so much when I run. Any suggestion to help me, new shoes maybe?

bundnek~ hi there. LOL Yes, life is busy....and when we're pg everything seems to be harder. I don't have any advice on the foot thingie...you can try new shoes,...it certainly wouldn't hurt.

Jen~I"m honored that you feel comfortable to vent with us. Work can be so frustrating.....and noone can blame you for wanting to be off of "on call". Hope you were able to rest.

Susan~ Kara is in launching position? LOL 7lbs is perfect!!!!

Wendy~ You're getting so close too. You have to take care of yourself....you have sooooooo much on your plate & we don't want you to have premature labor! (hugs)(hugs)

I have TWO days off. Yeah!!!!

bundenek- feel free to PM me, I have had a ton of feet problems, sounds like plantar fascitis, had it with my first pregnancy. The best thing you can do is get orthotics, solves it overnight. It gets worse as your feet stretch from relaxin and weight and the orthotics are awesome, but can be as much as 300 bucks. Mine actaully improved my life so much, that my husband got some. Or, if cost is an issue, get stabilizing sneakers for over pronating, and at night, roll a tennis ball under your foot or a frozen bottle of water. Ahhh. Stretch your calves a lot. The pressure from teh achilles heel to the tendon in your foot is very sensitive.
Jen- I cannot beileve how muc hyou are enduring with no rest! I am satan with no sleep. Remember that your assertion today is just an example of what a great mom you will be. Nobody will play mena in the sandbox with you. I have not been around much, but this is a hard time. As birth comes near for the first one, it is so scary. I cried a lot. I hope you know that we are all here for you, and that is what is unique. I did this alone the first time and had no idea anybody else cried! I cry every night!!!!!
Melanie- So glad the twins are healthy and thriving, but they need mommy to take a load off and relax! HOpe you get some rest one of these days... And I am green with envy that you are delivering early!
Susan- Haley will be a great big sister, and it sounds like you have the end in sight here! 135! That was my start weight and i thought I was a hottie there! Wish I could see it again!
Wendy- I have followed you on facebook, adn am so sorry that you are enduring yoru dad's health issues. It must be exhausting. I hope that you are able to fidn peace in bringing him to health in the form of a little baby soon! So sorry about all you are going through.
Dawn- You are so close! Can you belive it? You are looking great.
Priscilla- I love your sea world photos, you are also looking terrific and soudns really well.
okay, hello to all the preggos I may have missed. I have been here, but not that involved, and i am sorry for that. My husband moved up north today. He will be home occasionally on weekends, so we are in a tough time. Gald you are all here. I will be better about communicating!
:)

Hi, ladies!! We've been having internet problems, so I was out of touch with the world wide web for a few days (whatever did we do before the internet?!?!).

Jen, your bump looks so cute! I STILL haven't taken any bump pics -- guess I need to do that before the Boy comes. Yum, banana bread. We are big fans in this house :)

Susan, sounds like Kara is getting ready to go!

Melanie, I can't believe how much you tried to do this weekend. I'm glad you took a few naps and rested a bit -- sounds like you might need to rest a bit more, especially given how difficult your work weeks are.

Wendy, great news about the baby! I'm still very sorry to hear about your dad's health; I can't imagine how stressful that is on you and your family. How is Brooke doing? Is she getting more excited?

I had my 37 week appt. today. Doc says Boy doesn't seem ready to come out yet. His head was down at my 7/31 ultrasound, but doc says I'm barely dilated. On the plus side, sounds like he won't try to come out during the holiday weekend (my OB will be out of town) :)

DH has finally been working on the nursery (the ceiling/wall repair). He should be done spackling this week, and painting this weekend. Then we can set up the furniture and I can finish the laundry!! I cannot find our swing anywhere (I hope it's at my parents' house), but have found everything else. I really *did* keep everything, which is a wonderful financial help this time!

Pennstate (Allison)- I am so sorry I forgot you in my personals! 37 weeks! You are close! My son came early, I had NO dilation. Contarction and effacement, and doc induced me. Hang in there!!!! You are so close and I am so happy for yoU!:)

Hi everyone!

Sorry I have not been around much. Sounds like everyone understands about being super busy. :) I'm at work now and thinking of moving my office chair to the restroom since I'm there so much! I'm wondering if the baby has dropped--dropped right on my bladder! I'm actually excited for my 36-week apt on Thursday. I'm hoping for news on how things are progressing. From your posts, it sounds like I can expect to find out about dilation and her size.

Last week, I felt so silly. At my apt, the doc asked if the baby was still kicking a lot. I had to be honest and say that the baby hadn't moved much that morning. This was true, and I had been rushing around so much that morning, I hadn't had a chance to grab breakfast or anything. The doc sent me to the hospital for a nonstress test. I was a little nervous, but on the way to the hospital, baby girl started hiccuping! Then as soon as I was hooked up to the fetal monitor, she started kicking. I guess she didn't like the tight-ish bands on my belly. The hospital doc gave me a little gadget to record any kicks. Well, it was one after another after another. I was a little embarrassed. I was cleared to go, with a few smiles from the nurses, who said they would rather me be at the hospital and assured then home and worrying. The nurses also told me that the baby might be quiet simply because I hadn't eaten that morning yet. She said if some time goes by without feeling the baby, eat something, then lay down. Babies usually get a jolt from the food.

No workouts for me in the last couple of days. By the time I get home from work and get dinner made, I don't even have the energy to squeeze into workout clothes never mind exercise. When I look at the dogs' eyes, I feel a bit guilty that they haven't had a decent walk in a few days either. Oh well, today is a new day. 4 weeks to go!

Hope everyone has a great day!

All the best,
Dawn

Dawn~ don't feel silly about the stress test. I also remember towards the end baby didn't move much b/c there wasn't so much room!!! You are so close.

I delivered my last baby @ 37 weeks........just around the corner for so many of you!!!

Boys have haircut appts this AM,... Justin has kindergarden open house tonight.

I thought I'd wash babies clothes today...or at least get started & maybe make a picnic lunch & take the boys to the park. Justin instructed me how to make a picnic....in great detail a couple nights ago.... it's nice outside....maybe last nice day!

Waves to all you beautiful mommies!!!

Morning!
Melanie-yayy for you 2 days off..now REST a little would ya! I will allow the picnic...but please take it easy!
Dawn-dont feel silly at all! Better safe than sorry for sure! 4 weeks..wow!
Christine-Im sure you were a hottie at 135 and Im sure you look great now! .......but I am a shortie at 5'1" so Im not so much of a hottie at 135 lol.
Jen-so sorry about your work issues. I know you havent been sleeping good anyway..then haveing to get up and go work....ughhhh!! So glad you were taken off call. Your boss needs to chill out!
Hi Buneknek
HI Wendy, Pricilla!

Yesterday I did an Old Firm and today I walked 3 slow miles. During the last 15 min of my walks my hips and pelvic area start to burn so bad!
I am off to read a couple chapters to get caught up with my studies.
Waves to everyone!

Dawn, glad you were able to get the test. You shouldn't feel embarrassed. You *had not* felt the baby much that morning! Better safe than sorry :) I haven't worked out in a week. I'm so tired and feel so big.

Melanie, enjoy your days off! A picnic sounds like a fantastic idea :)

Susan, you go, girl, on the 3 mile walk!

Jen, hope you were able to get a better night's sleep since you're off the overnight "call list."

Christine, there's so much going on at your house, you poor thing. When will you and DH be able to see each other?

So, my husband will come home on the weekends, we are hoping. It is hard on us. And we need to keep showing the house on top of everything! It is hard to keep clean, with all the ash in air. I dust a lot! You should see our vacuum! Blech!
Jimmy's preschool teachers came over this morning. They do in home visits for an hour before the children start their first day so that they can assess if school is a positive or negative experience. It was interesting. I am going to miss him so much. Only two mornings a week, but it will be nice to have a break for a bit. Especially for OB appts!
I am hoping that my husband will realize how much he misses us and we can try to float two mortagages and all be together. I am getting WAY too preggo to not know what is going on. I want to make the nursery, wash clothes, plan. It is so tough to not be able to do any of that.
Off to do arts and crafts with Jimmy before he takes his nap.
Hellos to all of you!

HI everyone,

I haven't been around as much as I should. I have been stressed out about not finding a bigger apartment. We went to see some new homes nearby but the sales representative was not in the best mood for negotiation. I take it it may noy be our time to get a home.
I'm 26 weeks and my back is certainly feeling all the extra weight, for some reason I wake up every single hour so in the morning I am really dragging my feet. I was supposed to get the Glucose test on Monday but when I went, they were closed for lunch, so I decided to go back on Friday

Wendy, I just want to remind you that you are in our thoughts. I read your post today in FB and know that all this situation must be difficult.

Allison, it seems like it may be at least another week for you. Just around the corner though

Melanie, morning sickeness is gone for good. I have noticed that I burp a lot lately but I haven't taken Zofran in a while. Enjoy the picnic with your boys

Jen, you baby bump is so cute, you still look tiny thought

Susan, I feel like everything is loose from my waist to my pelvic and my whole lower half too, I haven't walk 3 miles in a long time but just getting out of my car is a hassle. how is school going?

Buneknek, yoy have a lot on your plate! I see you got great advice from Christine already, I hope you get better.

Christine, thanks for your comment. I was looking at your pics too and your little boy has the cutest smile ever! You look really good and I agree with the rest of the girls, you'll get your body back in no time

Dawn, looking forward to hear good news from your appointment this Thursday, are you getting nervous? BTW, I called the hospital to schedule the classes and they only offer them on Tuesday and Thusrdays afternoon (DH goes to school), then the next saturday they have available I won't be able to take them. I finally called another hospital and they offer them (1 saturday in Nov) so I may take it that day. I'm mad at myself for not scheduling on time. Now, I have to go to another hospital and not the one where I'm having my baby.

Check back later!

Hi ladies. :) I took a 2-rests & a nap today.....and slept 12 deep hours last night. I think I was a good girl. :D :D

The picnic was nice, school orientation was not so nice (Justin got really lippy and demanding in the parking lot, even started crying uncontrollably...but I think he was tired), and I got the babies clothes in washer (will put in dryer and fold tomorrow).

So........all in all,......I was pretty good, don't you think? LOL

hello everyone,

Not much going on. I called the hospital and talked to the nurse in charge on the chilbirth classes and registered for a 2 full saturday course in October. I'll be working the morning of the first saturday but she assured me that I won't be missing any of the breathing techniques at all, so I went ahead and scheduled it. I had the option of going to a different hospital but I wanted to get familiar with that one since that's where my baby will be born.

I slept pretty good last night Yeah!

Heading back to work

Quiet around here again today. ;) Just woke up from a pretty good nap....feel refreshed (but sore). I popped a couple acetaminophen....and hopefully will be able to move around more within 20 minutes.

Precilla~ I"m glad you got into some prenatal classes. They're great bonding time w/DH. How long have you been looking for a new appt/place? It suprises me that your unable to find anything in today's "buyers market". Interest rates are so low too, as low as 4.25% I've heard.

Hope everyone's having a good day. :)

Hey ladies! Sorry I haven't been here the last few days. Work has been busy (school started so we get more abuse reports) and just wiped at the end of the day. Went to Britney Spears concert last night with ladies from work which was fun and interesting. We had tickets donated to our facility (not real appropriate for sexual abuse victims) so a bunch of staff went. But I am definitely feeling the pain today in my back and hips from not sleeping much and doing a lot of walking.

Priscilla- I'm sorry you haven't found a bigger place yet but it sounds like you have a good outlook that it might not be the right time. I'm glad you were able to get classes at your hospital.

Melanie- I think you have done a great job resting and not doing too much! I am very proud of you!

Christine- I wish I could come over and help you get ready for baby! I can't imagine not being able to organize the room and clothes because you don't have anyone else to help with the other chores. Hugs!

Susan- I think you may be the only left that is working out! Go you!

Dawn- Don't feel silly! I would rather be safe than sorry. I get worried that as he gets bigger I won't feel him move as much and I am afraid I will panic.

Hugs to all of you ladies that have so much going on in your lives such as moving/showing houses, husband's communting/being gone and house hunting! I cannot imagine doing all that right now and I think you all are wonderful and strong and doing a great job!
