Gripe Water?

Hi Ladies!

I have a question for the experienced Moms here...have you ever used Gripe Water? If so, what do you use it for? Gassiness...fussiness? I have read that people swear by it and I am curious. My 7 week old is gassy, but not necessarily fussing to the point of crying unconsolably. However, he is often unsettled for hours at night and I am wondering if the Gripe Water will help.

I used it with my last son and he LOVED that stuff. I think he'd have drank a strait bottle of it if I let him. ha. I used it whenever he was fussy/gassy or had a tummy ache. seemed to soothe him and he really liked the taste of it.

Melanie, I bought mine at Babies R Us. It's made by Little Tummies. I used this yesterday and it did seem to help. He certainly liked it and had no problem taking it.

My sister-in-law swears by the stuff and besides gas, also used it to help with hiccups. It seemed to help get rid of them for my niece.
