Default Advice on getting back in shape

Hi ladies. I just had twins six weeks ago and I am anxious to get back in shape. I already lost the 34 lbs I gained with them but feel really out of shape. How did you firm up your stomach? Any tips on how to improve the look of stretch marks? (I know there is nothing I can do to get rid of them) Did you jump right back into Cathe workouts or did you start out with easier workouts?

Great job with the weight loss! You've accomplished the hardest part, in my opinion!

I'd do whatever you enjoy the most, first. Maybe go easy at first, but you may surprise yourself with your muscle memory, and on the other hand, you may be surprised to find a lack of stamina.

Planks really helped me to get my abs flat again.
I did planks and crunches daily. I also started 4 days after I gave birth. I was having back spasms with the total absence of ab strength, so it was necessary. The crunches were just to help with rebuilding strength, not appearance at that stage. At that point, your transverse is totally shot, so the planks will help there.

I have no words of advice for stretch marks, mine faded with time, but I'm also left with elephant skin around my belly button and lower abs. Most women, the skin goes back to smooth. Mine stretched too far, I guess, and it's a wrinkly mess. The stretch marks just add to the great appearance!
