I have a question for my Cathe friends..
I have been doing the LIC workouts since they were released and love love them!! But I've noticed my jeans seem to be snugger in my thighs!!! I've noticed more firmness in my legs and everywhere, but confused and discouraged that my jeans feel tighter. Does anyone know why this is happening??? Would appreciate anyone's input.. Thanks, Lori :-) |

for me...I can find that my legs really do bulk up when I do weight work even though my weight has not changed....so I have to be sure to put in enough cardio to keep them whittled down, because I love to do weight work for legs!
And if I put on even a few pounds and have really hit the weight work for legs hard...my jeans really do feel tighter... so I have to watch it!

Thanks for your input Tracy. I know with using weights thats true for me as well. But its not so much weight work with the new low impact series, its those darn discs!!!! I'm doing what seems to be enough cardio since most of those workouts are cardio based and have even added in a HIIT workout from time to time. I'm just very frustrated. Thanks again Lori

You're right, mine are fitting snugger, too, even though my weight is a little less. I thought it was my imagination
It has been since devoting my workouts to LIS ... |

Are any of you doing Cycle Max? When I did the LIS Nov. rotation I also added 2 days of spinning to the rotation. I had the opposite result, my jeans were looser in the thighs. I'm now doing the STS/LIS 3 month Transformation, but still trying to use my spin bike twice a week.

My workouts and my past biking experience is my jeans fit differently. My calves get huge from biking normally in the summer so no jeans. My thighs have gotten more shapely since doing more high impact since I did LIS.

Same problem with calves & biking. My legs have also gotten more shapely, toned & defined since LIS.

what workouts have you been doing? I want to get slide and glide and cardio supersets... looks like there isn't much weight work in these, could the gliding exercises cause bulking?

The sliding does tone your legs b/c the resistance is out of the discs and the type of floor you are on. My carpeting is not too thick but I have lots of cushion underneath.

Only one activity makes my jean tighter....eating too much! Works better than the scale for a reality check!
