Default What is Angles/Lines/Curves????

Hello Cathe, Hello Forum Ladies,

What exactly is Angles/Lines/Curves? I am brand new to this forum and to Cathe videos in general. In fact I just ordered my first 4 videos this past week (all PS videos and Interval Max). I want to incorporate these new videos in with the Firm tapes I do, to shake things up a bit, so here I am. I have heard great things about Cathe, and will be doing my first Cathe tape tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Anyway, if someone could please tell me what Angles/Lines/Curves is, I would appreciate it.

Thanks a lot
--Erica

Default Stretching Video

Hi Erica! Angles, Lines and Curves is a stretching video by Kari Anderson. I don't have it, so I can't tell you any more than that, but you can read reviews of it at http://www.videofitness.com and get additional information at http://www.collagevideo.com. Hope this helps!

Default a video dessert

I have & use the tape. It's supposed to be a toning & flexiblity tape with yoga & Pilates inspired moves. It has received pretty poor reviews. I prefer Voight's Pure & Simple Stretch for flexibility & The Method for Pilates. But I always feel terrific after doing Angles, Lines & Curves but it's more mental than physical. Kari Anderson has Cathe's warmth & cues just as well. Kari has a dance background which is quite evident in her tapes (she also does a lot of step videos).

Default HI Erica - about Angles/Lines/Curves

I also have this video and use it when I just want to have a good stretch. I usually do it if I am going to play golf that day since I walk and carry my clubs.

It is really 45 minutes of stretching, body positioning, and thinking about where your body is in space, as Kari says. She does cue very well and is very inspiring. You can tell she has a dance background by her gracefullness.

I do not know too much about Pilates or Yoga but the positions incorporate Pilates and Yoga moves I have seen in fitness magazines. I do not have any other Pilate, Yoga videos. I feel very stretched out and ready to go after the tape. It is probably one I will use on my "off" days in my rotation if I feel the need for a good stretch.

In the past, I have used Kari's videos but really have given them up since becoming a Cathe addict.

Hope this helps explain a little for you. Just let me know if you want more info?

Lynn

Default Thanks ladies!--Another Question Too???

Thanks for clearing this up for me. I appreciate your help here.

Now, I was wondering...I heard you can purchase the long aerobic bench like the one Cathe uses in her videos, at the Step Company. Where can I find this company on the web? If anyone knows I would appreciate your sharing it with me.

Thank
--Erica

Default Step Purchase

Erica,
Go to Cathe's homepage and click on the buyer's guide, she has a link to the Step Company's site there. Make sure you get the original health club step, the home version is quite a bit shorter. You can also find these steps at various sporting goods stores locally, sometimes for quite a bit less, plus you don't have to pay for shipping and handling. And you wouldn't have to wait for delivery! Just a suggestion, take it or leave it, right? Good luck with your purchase!
