Try doing a search on Freestyle training. The concept is similar to leaner legs.

Also there are a couple of rotations with loads of lunges and lower body workouts without weights or with only light ones.

That may help.
 
Butts and Gutts has done wonders for me. The light-weight or non-weighted leg work really helped lean out my thighs and not bulk them up.
