During cool weather, I run a 5 mile hilly loop once a week in Duke Forest. On a crappy day I do it in 44 minutes, at best I do it in 42. Today was my first run since mid-May when the weather got too warm. This summer I made sure I did either Imax or MIC once a week, hoping it would help me stay in shape for running. Well, today, the weather was great and I was a little scared, but it was easy! It was a wonderful beautiful day and I did it in 43 minutes without really pushing it. I'm sure I couldn't have done this without Cathe. The long hills are very similar to those grueling intervals and I was really able to enjoy the experience.
