This morning we had another server crash similar to what we have seen for the last two weeks. The data center that maintains and runs our server in Texas has tried several times over the last two weeks to fix the problems, but they keep reoccurring.
We just had another crash, but this was caused by the data center doing a forced backup to see if the backup software is the issue. Sorry for not giving notice, but the data center thought they could stop the backup before the server became overloaded. Unfortunately, the server became overloaded within seconds and nothing could be done to prevent the server from shutting down.
We now feel we have isolated the problem we have been experiencing for the last two weeks. Now all that is left is for the data center is to figure out how to solve and fix the problem.
Sorry for all of inconveniences this has caused. Hopefully we can find a solution now that we know what the problem is.
