If I make a recipe that calls for 1/2 cup oil, and 10 people eat that recipe, how do I know what calories I actually consumed? I know I can divide the 1/2 c by 10, but, I could be getting more or less than my share, know what I mean?
Unless you measure everyone's exact portion, you're only going to get a guesstimate anyway. Divide by 10 like you suggested and that will be close enough.
Create an account on www.sparkpeople.com and enter the recipe into "My Nutruition" and Food groups. Then enter that you had .1 serving of that recipe. It will break everything down for you.
I wouldn't stress too much about it. Like others said, divide by ten and just get a ballpark figure. Enjoy whatever it is you're making!!
Wish I could be one of the ten!!
