Hello there,

I just recently got Shed & Shred (Jillian Michaels). Most people are not fans of hers, but I like her. I really enjoyed this workout, as she put aside her "rough & tough" personality and acted more professional with no yelling or cursing (which she is known for). With level 1 and level 2, both consisting of about 30min each of cardio/strength/body weight circuits. She also throws in Yoga, Jujitsu, kickboxing, boxing and some other "unique" moves I have never seen before, to give you a wonderful total body/cardio workout. I was sweating nicely during the workout and sore the next day which is always a good sign. The one thing that bothers me about Jillian, is that she never does her own workouts.

Not a new workout, but I purchased Supreme-90 Day. I am impressed. For only $20 you get 10 DVD's (7 weight training/3 cardio). So far I have done the Shoulder's/Arms DVD, Cardio Challenge and Tabata. All great. Not as challenging as Cathe's stuff, but still tough. Tom Holland, the instructor, is very sweet and motivating. I like his style, but yet again, he does not do his own workout. I think Cathe just spoils me. My one gripe about the series, is that the crew works at different paces with various weights & speeds, so the set sometimes looks confusing and unorganized. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. Not being able to invest in STS yet, I wanted a weight training package that would consist of different workouts, and this fit the bill.

I don't own any health/fitness books, they just aren't my thing. My aunt however bought The Biggest Loser diet/fitness plan/cookbook and lost 20 lbs.

Have a wonderful day

Natasha

Thank you! I was wondering about Jillians new work out. She inspires me because I would love to have arms like hers! The only thing I don't like about her workouts is that I would rather work out 1 muscle group at a time (like Cathe does).

I do have the Supreme 90 workout. But I really need to get it back out and give it another try.

Thanks so much for your input! Linda
