How would the following smoothie fit in to a weight loss plan, if at all? I'm worried the carb content is too high.
1 cup of V-8 juice, lower sugar and 50 cal) handul of strawberries handful of blueberries 1 scoop egg white protein powder tsp of cinnamon 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tbsp lemon juice scoop of wheat germ scoop of flaz seed

Your body and brain need carbs from whole foods! All the carbs in this smoothie are coming from whole foods in their natural state, with the exception of the V-8. I think you're good to go! Remember that your body treats carbs from a doughnut and carbs from an apple or broccoli differently. Just choose your carbs wisely.
