Here are some apps my 4.5 year old boy and 7 year old girl enjoy:
- Tic-Tac-Touch - Highlights My First Hidden Pictures - My Underwear (based off of the Todd Parr books... hilarious) - Stack the States (my 7 y.o. plays with this more; a bit much for my boy) - Memory Cards Lite (similar to the "Memory" card game) - Easy Bake Cupcakes (make your own cupcakes ... my kids love!) - Milkshakes! (ditto except you make your own milkshakes) - Abby Monsters Maker I don't remember the exact cost of these, but I would bet most are $0.99 or $1.99. I don't like to spend a lot on apps for my kids because I figure their tastes will change. I hope those ideas help or at least get you going!

You're never too young for Angry Birds!
I would think Stack the States is a bit much for five, but my seven-yr-old can do it with help. Try the free version. Icee maker might be good, or any of those food-making apps. Fruit ninja free version Sky burger Farm story Talking Tom (you might regret that one) Flow paper for the creative types. |

Thanks for the other suggestions...I haven't gotten my little guy his own app so I appreciate everyone's suggestions. Talking Tom is cute too, but you're right. I'll let the kids stick to playing that one on my parent's iPad ![]() |
