gift card for pre-order?

Does anyone know if gift cards can be used on pre-orders? I read the filming update on the blog, and I'm so excited for it! My MIL has been asking me for a Christmas list, but if I can use a gift card on a pre-order, my list for her is only one item..A CATHE.COM GIFT CARD!!!

Lisa...I'm not sure if you can use them for preorders, but I don't see why not? You've just given me a great idea for MY X-mas present from DH! Thanks!

I don't know about Cathe.com gift cards, but I used a Visa gift card on my preorder and it worked fine. I'd imagine the Cathe.com gift card would work as well.

Yes, you can. I used my Cathe gift card on the 4DS preorder with no problem. IIRC I included a comment on my order form and had to email the card number to SNM. They sent a receipt in the mail showing the balance on my card.
