Aug Rotation/Lower Body (11 Aug)

Hi Ladies,

I did a 5.2 mile run last night and PUB up only premix. I was short on time, and had to get my son to Football practice.

Tonight is going to be a 3 miler and PLB and an attempt to do 200 walking lunges...

Way to go Diana on the 7lbs!!! :7

Is everyone else enjoying this rotation as much as me??

I did IMAX 1 this morning (the first 6) and the ab/core work from Supersets. I just discovered this ab work last week and am really finding it challenging.

Tomorrow will be some sort of weights, not sure yet.

I haven't started the August rotation yet. I need to get it in gear.

The 200 walking lunges aren't that bad until the next day or two. I swear I had the worst DOMS of my life last week. But I felt it where I need it so it kind of makes it worthwhile

Oh man - I did NOT need to hear that last part about the walking lunges. I did PLB and 200 of those babies this morning and my legs are sore already. Please tell me it's not going to get worse x( ...

Hope everybody is lovin' life today. Bev, I am really enjoying this rotation. You seem to be getting in more cardio through all that running. I wish I had time. Maybe next week I can get some running in. It is sooo hot here, it's all I can do to get my workout done in air conditioning let alone run outside. arrrgh.

Well, have a great day all. Hang in there and grind out those walking lunges. We'll be glad we did them in the end.

Good Morning Ladies.....Today is PLB, and the walking lunges. I am not sure I really want to tackle those after hearing ho0w sore you all are!!!!!!!! Yesterday I walked/ran on the treadmill. I am not much of a runner, so I try to do intervals instead. I also cahynge my incline, and switch it up between walking and running. My buns and thighs were sore last night, so yesterday's work out must have worked!!!!!!!! I am really enjoying this rotation also. I might do it over after I am done, or I am going to go to a P90X rotation w/ SS, and then go back to this. Take care!!!!

Morning,

I didn’t workout last night, When I got home last night. I got a call from my brother, telling me my sister is extremely sick she has LUPUS. So, I immediately went to her.

Tonight, Legs & Glutes and Step Intervals.

Sorry to hear that your sister is sick. My sister-in-law has the same thing and she is doing wonderfully.


Last nite was PUB & a 2 mile run (yeah! it didn't rain ;))
My legs are still sore from PLB the other day & I have to do it again today PLUS those lunges. I'll need a wheelchair tomorrow..haha
If I don't post tomorrow, someone send for help :)

I don't know all but I'm telling you, my a** hurt right on both sides of my butt like I don't know what for 2-3 days afterward. But, like I said, that's where I need some firming up. WHen we were doing lower body rotation a few months ago I had done them with not nearly the pain. Maybe it was because I was doing lower body stuff 5 days a week and more conditioned.

Teddygirl, so sorry to hear about your sister. Lupus used to be so much worse 20 years ago. Now I understand the treatment has advanced so much that most Lupus sufferers live a normal life. Hang in there. A friend of mine has it and she just had two children in the past five years and keeps up with them.

Finished Cardio & Weights today--it's okay to post on this thread isn't it, even though I started the rotation late? Bev, I agree with you--this rotation is so much fun! It's a great complement to the one from July, too!

And, Teddygirl, sorry about your sister. Know that we're all thinking of you. Take care.

Lovin this rotation so far. I did a 4 mile jog this A.M. and this afternoon I am doing PLB again with the 200 walking lunges. I am almost looking forward to feeling sore. LOL
 
Hi Everyone,

I am lovin' this rotation since I definitely feel it in all my problem areas. After PUB yesterday I did CTX kickbox-need all the cardio I can squeeze in. My legs were fried and I had to do PLB again today-I actually think it helped the soreness. This afternoon will be a 5 mile run and 200 walking lunges-love those lunges. I'm with Lynne, if you don't hear from me tomorrow please send help!

I'm so excited I just received HSTA on Monday, previewed Tuesday night and it looks really difficult, can't wait to try it out on Friday. Has anyone else done HSTA before-what did you think?

Teddygirl-I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I will be thinking about you both, and hope she starts feeling better soon.

Teddygirl~ sorry to hear about your sister and the Lupus diagnosis. But I do agree, the treatment is much better now than it was 20 years ago. Keep well informed and positive.

This rotation is great and so is this check-in! I did PLB yesterday and 400 walking lungs before hand. (I used it as my warm up) Now after the first day of PLB (& Boot Camp cardio only) I was quite sore. Today after the 2nd day of PLB and 400 lunges I am NOT SORE. Could I be adjusting? Today is IMAX2. Oh, well I'll be pleased with myself when I am finished.

Off topic: I just wanted to share this: My son and his high school cross country team are doing a 25 hour relay for charity today through tomorrow. There will be one person at a time running on the track for a continuous 25 hours. They are pretty excited about it. Generally they will run a few miles at a time and then pass the baton on to then next runner. I will stop over this evening to see how they are and maybe walk a few miles myself. Hopefully there will be no thunderstorms.

I am only just getting around to checking in.I started the rotation late last week,then I went into the city for 3 days...so it was a write off!!! SOOOOOOOOOO, I started again on Monday, right from the beginning.I need alot of work in the lower body but then again there aren't alot of women who don't.;) I have my mothers legs.:eek:
I just finished ME.I can't beleive I haven't done that workout more often.Boy,its tough! I think everything is going to be sore tomorrow.As I was doing the workout I was wondering what was on the agenda tomorrow.I thought it might be C&W but wasn't sure. If I knew that it was going to be PS legs, I would have never looked.I would have just went ahead and did C&W:) My legs are never going to forgive me but I bet I will see great results.I have been running alot all summer and not really concentrating on weights.
Teddygirl- I am sorry to hear about your SIL.We found out about 3 monthes ago that my MIL had breast cancer.She had her breast removed and was just waiting to see the cancer specialist.She found out yesterday that she has to have 4 kemo treatments.Which means that she is going to lose her hair and probably become sick.Its going to be along few monthes for her.
Thats it for me.I will check back again tomorrow.
