Default Anyone Ever Try Either of These Cathe Rotations and If So, With What Results?

These are two-body-parts-per-day four-week rotations, and I can’t decide which one to start. I’m rotation challenged, and so far every rotation I started ended after 2 or 3 days, but I hope one of these will change my pattern!

April 2010. STS/Gym Style Rotation . I’d substitute Slow and Heavy for STS as I never did order that series. Heavy weight training alternates with cardio and abs, and a stretch day.

August 2009. Said to “shock system” with a fitness pyramid – one week of endurance, one week of moderate to heavy strength, one week of heavy strength, and one week of power and strength. (Sort of sounds like the STS idea, but with each mesocycle condensed into one week!) Includes STS, Slow and Heavy, GymStyles, Muscle Endurnce workouts, among others.

If you did either of these and got results (good or bad), I would love to hear about it. Thanks so much

Can you post a link to these rotations, especially the STS/Gym Styles rotation? Thanks

Here's the April 2010 rotation -- I hope! Let me know if the link doesn't work.

Thanks for posting the link, looks like a good one, lots of focus on weights, I would just have to sub out any of the step work, but that should be easy enough.

You're welcome.

I don't do step either, only her weight workouts, which I love

Normandy,

There was a very impressive success story posted from a Cathlete who used Slow & Heavy and Gym Styles in a 12 week melt down.

Pretty darn impressive if you ask me!

That sure was amazing -- thanks. Now I wish someonoe would post a definite rotation with the newer dvd's. I'm glad she did achieve such wondeerful results with using Slow and Heavy because that's still one of my all-time favorites.

Are the Gym Styles and Slow and Heavy more comparable to Meso 2 or 3?

It's been a while since I've done slow & heavy but from what I can remember....yes.
I remember reading Fitness Freak used Gym Styles for her transformation. I recall her mentioning d that she gained muscle using that series.
I love Gym Styles, but found S & H kind of boring (only because I like endurance type workouts).

I could be wrong -- but I believe Slow and Heavy would be comparable to Meso 3 as far as the heavy lifting, and Gym Styles more like Meso 2.
