? about puzzle mats and slick shoes

I know some of you have those puzzle mats from Lowes. I got some and I love the way it feels to work out on them, but they seem to have made my shoes slick!

Anyone else have this problem? How did you solve it?

I could hardly use my bun and thigh rocker and the top of the step felt slick.

I would greatly appreciate any advice!

The first time I used mine I had the same problem. Based on recommendations from others (this was 18 months ago) I sprayed my mats down with 409 and it got rid of the slick coating - whatever that is! 409 worked for me but you could probably use some other kind of similar cleanser. Others may have different suggestions.

Also, be sure and wipe down the bottom or your shoes and your step after doing the mats!

Hope that helps!
