Weight w/o with 8 reps?

The STS meso 3 uses heavy weights, 7 reps and 4 sets. Also Gym Style series uses heavy weights but I don't remember how many reps.

Hi, I know it`s not a Cathe DVD but Amy Bento`s Slo-Mo Strength Challenge is like that and I find them really effective workouts.
 
Slow and Heavy is exactly what you're describing. I'm doing a rotation with it now. It's pretty aweseome for breaking plateaus!
