Default Turbo Barre Resistance Band Question...

Are most of you using the light or the medium resistance band for this one?? I know the crew is using the light resistance but is that one you'll soon progress past quickly to the medium resistance band???

the section at the barre with the band is not too long. you could use the light or med one IMO.

I use the medium band for the entire workout. I gave the light one to a friend, so I didn't have a choice. I'll probably move to the heavier one after doing the workout a few more times.

Default Need DVD recommendations for toning tubes

I'm new to Cathe and was hoping someone could tell me what video/DVD Cathe uses the toning tubes (resistance bands). I've already got the tubes but no program to follow. I know that a DVD comes with the adjustable toning tubes but the description doesn't say much about the DVD so don't know if it's just a how to use the tubes or a real Cathe workout. Thanks so much. sue

Travel Fit is all band work. She uses stretch bands, which are a bit different as they do not have a handle and are thicker. I used tubing and it worked fine (you might want to get lifting gloves. The band was killing my hands!). I found the workout to be fun & challenging. Not Cathe's toughest, but you will feel it in your muscles the next day. Also, it's Low Impact too, so very joint friendly.

I have almost all of Cathe's DVDs and the only one I've used the tube style with handles is Athletic Training. Otherwise, the other workouts use a resistance band and using gloves makes a huge difference - keeps the band from slipping out of my sweaty palms.

I use the green band - no problem! My pink band arrived ripped, and I figured it was to easy anyway so I never complained about it!! Blue one...will take a bit to do this workout with

Unfortunately my green band broke (while doing a Cathe workout) so I am now using the blue one - owie, but doable.
