Hi Melly76!

High Reps: I have to stick to low impact too and I really can't do much leg work. Anything I can do, I have to keep the move very shallow. I didn't let that stop me from getting High Reps though. You can do the "Upper Body First" premix and just work your upper body. Or if you want to you could select parts you want to do from the Chapter menu and do just a few segments of the leg work. The upper body workout and abs segment in High Reps is very good and worth the purchase for that alone, IMHO.

Intensity: The impact segment is 10 minutes long. It is great. I can do the step segments (with some modifications) and that works for me. I have also done the workout without a step bench.

I know it's really hard to know how much you'll like or be able to do a workout when you have restrictions.

As far as recommending other workouts, none come to mind right now. I love Cathe workouts- A LOT- so I pretty much modifiy each workout to fit my restrictions, even if that means marching in place. I have to modify almost any workout I do, Cathe or not. Just something I've gotten used to. Though I do miss the days of jumping and lunging with wreckless abandon

HTH!

ETA: I just read that you have hip bursitis. I have that too! Along with spinal stenosis (which the bain of my existence right now!). So far Intensity has not aggrevated my hip or any other part. I just recently tried out Cardio Overdrive from the Firm. Love it! That is nearly all low impact. There are some higher impact part but there is a low impact modifer person to follow.

Thanks for replying,
do you happen to own the low impact circuit and low max ,which do you prefer?
So the low impact hiit section in intensity only lasts 10 mins .I know its premixed with the bootcamp ,how long is that and is that low impact.sorry for all the questions.just want to make the right choices, mel

Yes, I have both Low Max and Low Impact Circuit. It's tough for me to say which one I prefer. I guess I would reach for Low Impact Circuit first. Though, I can't say for sure why. I usually do the Timesaver Cardio premix on LIC. Low Max is fun though and gets my heart rate up (even with only 1 set of risers). I like to mix the blasts/intervals with an upper body workout like Pyramid Upper Body.

I haven't tried the Boot Camp from Intensity. I watched a clip of it and it does not look low impact. But it did look like it could be easily modified to be low impact. I'm not sure how long Intensity Boot Camp is. The Low Impact HiiT/Boot Camp premix is just under 36 min long. Depending on if there is a warm up and cool down, Boot Camp could be anywhere from 15-25 min in length.

I really like Intensity and High Reps and I reach for them often.

Good luck with your decision! Go with your gut instincts

The only low impact section of Intensity that is really low impact is the hiit low impact. Its approximately 15 minutes long. IN the bootcamp premix the hiit comes first then the bootcamp comes in later. The moves that involve weights are low impact but the cardio burst are not. Thinking of plyo jacks and stuff like that.
