Question Cathe's Presale - Which Format and Why?

I am counting the hours until the next presale begins!

I have decided to buy both the DVD and the Digital versions. I love the idea of having the workouts available the day the actual DVDs ship, but I am still a bit in the Stone Age and prefer the DVD format. I feel I am staying in my comfort zone with the DVD version.

Since the world is moving toward digital downloads, I thought I had better move on with the times. I remember when CTX came out - I was on the fence. I almost ordered the VHS version, but S&M told me that this series would likely be the last VHS versions produced.

I opted for the longer wait for the DVD (back then the VHS version shipped earlier). I have never regretted moving forward with the times.

What format (s) do you intend to purchase and why?

For me personally, I would have to get too much extra equipment for the downloads. I don't workout in a gym anymore, I workout at home, so the DVD is fine for me. The only time I would really need the downloads is for traveling, but I'm not traveling that much right now.

I don't think it's about being in a comfort zone, I love technology and all the advances but for me at this point the downloads don't work. Also before the workout blender announcement the premixes were not on the downloads and I use the prmixes alot particularly on days when I'm short on time (4 classes away from finishing my 2nd masters degree)

I think the DVD's are fine, but al least you would have both options available to you

Don't have the where with all to download but, just like you said, that's the way everything is going, and I like it. The workout blender really sounds cool, making custom workouts and routines for your specific needs or sport, how cool is that? just like STS strength is the natural progression in weight lifting, this follows with a fantastic evolution of workouts & rotations. Jab-Cross-Jab-Cross....Pop-Pop 'n duck...Pop-Pop 'n Duck!

Ipad & Cathe downloads in hand, Woo Hoo! Are you listening Santa? I can hear the reindeer on the roof!

Okay back to reality,
I'll probably end up going for the DVDs......sheeeesh....

It's cool to have a choice, or both!

Linda- this just cracked me up.

When it comes to getting new Cathe gear (videos, gloves, what-have-you) I feel like such a kid.

I'm going to go with the downloads only - I much prefer the downloads and it saves space since I'm running out of space in the bookshelf for all the DVDs.

Everybody makes a great point.

I have all the STS cardio downloads and I have yet to use them.

But the space issue is a biggie for me, making the downloads an option.

If I had to select between downloads and DVDs only, the DVDs would win hands down.

I am now on the fence. The special price is great if you buy both, but since I have never used a download and I no longer travel a lot, the DVD option would be fine by me.

And there is always Travel Fit for taking on trips should I fee the need to work out while traveling.

I guess I have until 12:01 am EDT to make a decision......

I ended up selecting the DVDs only.

I don't have a good setup for the downloads to play on my television at this time.

I love digital formats such as music and movies, but I am not ready to take my workouts digital at this point in time.

And I don't even have time to use the Workout Blender. I enjoy the premixes offered with the DVD.
