Hey Cathe
I recently read something in a weight loss book that I have a question about. The author of this book said aerobics such as step, the elliptical, kickboxing, and other aerobics like these just burn sugar and not fat. The author said basically the only workouts that burn fat are walking, jogging, running, and the stationary bike. Have you heard anything like this? Thanks Rebecca |

This is on the theory that lower levels of exertion will burn more fat. Here is an article that explains how all this works:
http://www.prevention.com/article/0,...4219-1,00.html No activity burns all fat or all sugar. And the fact is, a good hard workout is still good for you as is a good long walk! Stephanie |
