Strength Gloves?

I just bought Travel Fit and took note that Cathe mentioned using gloves which I have not been doing on weight videos becuase I don't really lift heavier than 12 lbs at most but took a real beating on the band without them in this video!

Would the strength gloves be the best buy for the band and weights - reading the reviews, I was not confident about ordering the other fitness gloves offered - any other opinions out there?

The other fitness gloves are actually perfect if you're just using the band.

The strength gloves would be for weights (but I actually have found I like the strength gloves bought at a sporting goods store much better - Harbinger brand, for example)
