To step or not to step for pear shape?

Hi Cathe,
I have all of your step tapes and everyone keeps saying that doing step bulks you up if your a pear shape. What do you think?Also, I hear using weight for your lower body bulks you up I get so confused sometimes. Thank you Cathe
 
Hi Shanda! Everyone is different so the only way for you to know exactly how your body will respond is to simply do it and see what happens. If you do see your legs getting bulky over time then you can try one or all of the following: 1) Cut back on how often you step per week. 2) Reduce the height of your step. 3) Cut back on doing some of the power moves and simply do the same move but low impact vs jumping.
