Soreness

Hi!

Has anyone else been sore since you first started Cathe's tapes?

Cathe, I love your videos. They remind me so much of my instructor's style at the gym, which I never thought I'd find again when my instructor left. So, you can imagine I am very excited. Trouble is my arms are very sore and my back aches, too. I have tried your Wedding tape and Step Max.

I've worked out for the past 3 years with step and weights, but most recently developed a schedule thanks to the Body For Life program.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I might ease this soreness?

Try not to do too much too soon. If you are experiencing this kind of soreness, then try to do only three cardio workouts per week(one every other day) and one to two weight training workouts per week with a lighter weight(do not do these weight workouts on consecutive days). Once the extreme soreness subsides, you can start to work your way up to your regular fitness routine.

For right now, take a warm to hot bath for 10 minutes three times per week followed by a slow stretch. Sleep well. Take care and hope you feel better.
