Without seeing the disc there is no way for us to tell. About half the DVD's sold on EBAY are illegal copies, so we don't advise buying on Ebay unless you know the sellers reputation.

Ask the seller. It could be an original, but from the first batch of DVD's that don't play well on everyone's DVD player.
