Question re: Floorwork for Lower Body

Hi Cathe,
Can a LB regimen be considered complete if it doesn't include floorwork for inner thigh, outer thigh, and hamstrings?

I am doing a rotation using the PS Series and find myself wondering how necessary the floorwork segment of PS-SLA is. Do you feel that a LB regimen needs to include floorwork or does standing leg work get the job done?

Hi Deb,

I'm not Cathe, but I'll throw my 2 cents in here! I have been doing a rotation with the PS series and have only been doing the standing portion of SLA. I have been doing this for a few weeks and have still seen good results. BUT, I've been doing SLA standing two times per week. It's just easier to fit in since it's not as long that way. Are you using fairly heavy weights with it? I wasn't using more than 30 lb in the past but this time upped it to 40 lb and it's made a big difference! It would be interesting to see what Cathe says about this! Good luck with whatever you decide!
