pure strength and hitting muscles only 1x week

Is this really enough to make significant changes in my body? Doing the 3-part pure strength series once a week, that is. I know I've read that overtraining the muscles can actually undo all your progress. The last thing I want to do is diminish all my hard work. And, if I can get away with one less weight workout and get the same or better results, I'm all for that. How does this work? I'd love to hear others' personal experiences too. I'm not the type to build muscle easily.
 
Hi Kath! I honestly feel that one time a week of focused application is enough but if you find after about a month of this it is not enough for you, you will not be overtraining if you up it to two times a week. Tip: Try two times a week every other week before you do it weekly. Good Luck!
 
Lifting aside...Eat protein! For years I lifted without getting enough protein and did not see the results. It is absolutely critical! Jeanne
