pikes and wrists...

Hi Cathe,

I can do pikes on the ball okay as far as ny core goes, but it seems my wrists and sometimes my shoulders give out way before the end. Especially when doing the pikes at the end of PUB, because I am fried! I have to stop and circle my wis a few times before continuing, bu I'd love to do them al the way through.Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Linda

Hi Linda,

Why don't you try doing the pikes first before the rest of the workout? I find I have more energy when I do it this way and am less tired and fried.

Hi Marcy,

That's a good idea and pretty simple too!:p My keyboard's been acting up lately - guess I should have re-read my post before I entered it LOL:p

Not Cathe here but I have found that if I do pikes while using an 8lb weight as a "handle" I can last far longer than if I just put my hands flat on the ground. I do the same for push ups and planks, too, or anything that requires me to flex my wrist that way.
