osteoporosis

I am 40 years old and have been diagnosed with early osteoporosis. I need to get on a regimented workout and would like to know which of your workouts would be the best to achieve the goal of building my bone density? I appreciat your time and attention to this matter. Thank you, Marcia Earhart
 
Hi Marcia,
I am 44 yrs old and have been diagnosed w/ osteoprosis also. I take Fosamax 1x a week. I walk 4 miles daily (weather permiting) I have about 25 of Cathe's videos I do them all I don't put limits on myself. My favorite is Power Hour amd I love the new Intensity Series. I was SHOCKED to find out I had osteprosis and depressed. I felt I was doing everything right. My Dr. recomends weights I use what Cathe uses in her videos I am strong & feel great. I am not going to let this get me down. I do her tapes 5x a week & 7 days of walking . Take care.

My 41 year old twin sister has been diagnosed with osteoporosis also!! She has to see a kidney specialist because she maybe excreting to much calcium. I have an appointment for a bone density scan on Monday. We do cardio and weights so we were both SHOCKED!
