With my lower body

I've been working out with the Firm for almost 2 yrs now. I love it and I'm never leaving the Firm but I also enjoy Cathe's work outs. So I've started a collection of them slowly.

My question is what is the best way to help trim those extra inches off my hips/thighs? When I try on a 12 the waist is way to big but when I try on a 10 my thighs are buldging out of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I increase my cardio?

I know eating "clean" has a lot to do with it and I'm working on that. Right now I eat clean 80 to 85% of the time. Which I'm trying to improve slowly.

Any more suggestions would be great.

Thanks, Jennie.

Hi Jennie,
I'm not Cathe, but I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. A lot of women have a hip to waist ratio that is not what the clothing industry has decided is "average".

I can't help you trim your hip measurement (I'm still working on my own hips!), but I can tell you that you should shop, ALOT. There are a handful of clothing manufacturers that recognize that some women just have more hips. Lee's has come out with a new fit style that works really well on me, you may want to try that brand. I also have a couple of Worthington pants from JC Penney's that work for the office too. I'm not sure what style you like, but if these brands don't work for you, keep trying. I've actually seen different cuts within the same brand where some fit and some don't.

I know it's not the advice you were looking for, but until we manage to whittle those hips away, maybe this will help. Good luck!

Thanks Claude. I will keep looking around at different styles of clothing. It just gets so frustrating when you work so hard and your hips/thighs don't budge.

Thanks for the quite reply.
