Hi, I have used Cathe's videos since 2004 and I am 59 years old and have been doing nothing for about a year because of injury and ready to start again and am pretty mushy. I have the high step circuit and decided to go by chapters. I did chapters 1-3 yesterday and today 4-stretch at beginner level. Is that okay? I thought of the mix and match option also. Any advice? Thanks for all you do for the fitness world.

A good rule of thumb is to start with no more than 30 minutes of exercise and then add no more than 5 minutes a week until you reach no more than 60 minutes. Also go low impact for the first few weeks to prevent injury until your body gets accustomed to exercising again. And then add in the high impact in small segments.
It would help to know what your injury was and how it happened?
