Hi
I wear a wrist heart monitor when I work out. this gives me the calories that i have used and time of a workout when I wear it. every so often i have to test my heart rate and it gives me the my heartrate and the percentage that it is working at and then gives an update of calories burned at that point. I seem to burn a lot more calories than the met value calculations that you gave in your article. the wrist monitor is not the most expensive but it cost around $100. Are these monitors close to being accurate or is the met calculation more accurate? please advise.
