Leg workouts w/ cardio?

Hi Cathe,

First of all, thanks for all your hard work and quality workouts!

My question is this: Is it ok to do cardio (like running, step) on the same day as a big leg workout (such as GS legs, PS legs etc)? I usually do both wts and cardio in the morning. Would I hurt my results by doing this? I am looking to lose some fat and gain some strength and definition.

Hi Thea! Depending on how hard and heavy you push yourself on the leg day, you may want to consider leaving your cardio alone that day. If that is not something you want to do then here are your other options:

On your leg day, do half the amount of cardio you typically do AFTER your leg workout, or if possible do your cardio later in the day.
