First try with Slow and Heavy

I'm working my way from Power Hour to Slow and Heavy by starting with the chest/back workout. I LOVE THIS! This way of working out reminds me so much of working out in a weight room! I love having the stretch breaks (that I don't have to "create" myself by pausing my DVD) and I can really get my breathing in sync with the movement and feel like it helps a lot in lifting.
I felt like I worked my muscles to the max. I thought I'd be unable to move this morning, but oddly enough, I'm not that sore (YET!).
By the way, for anyone else who is avoiding push=ups because of wrist problems or any other reason...I substituted a decline bench press and it worked wonderfully.

Hi Kathryn,

I have been avoiding the pushups due to my wrists too (at least, that's my excuse :). How do you do a decline bench press?

Just put the "incline" on your bench so your head is lower than your hips, it's the opposite of an incline bench press. It works your lower chest more, I think.
