Cardio

The best time to do cardio is when you can fit it into your busy schedule.

For morning people, the early am is a good idea. For night time people like myself the early morning would be the kiss of death, so after 5pm works best for me.

Research has shown that early risers and those who like to wake early maintain the same energy levels all day, so pretty much any time of day would do. However, night owls have been shown to enjoy increasing energy levels as the day goes on, which proves why I find 7pm or 9pm to be the optimum time for me to exercise!
