Hi Cathe, would you be so kind as to tell me how to acquire the BodyPump certification. I'm here in NJ (Monmouth Co.) I searched the web and got no results leading to an organization.
Thanks,:)

Hi Lori,

I'm not Cathe, but Body Pump certification is conducted by Les Mills' Body Training Systems (BTS). I'm not sure where you live, but there are certification sessions offered annually at certain locations. Please check this website for additional information on how to become an instructor and attend a BTS certification workshop:
http://www.lesmillsusa.com/site/instructors/instructors.aspx

You may also want to check with the Group Exercise Director at a local gym that offers BTS programs (many Gold's Gym chains offer these programs). Often times they offer certification programs for their instructors on a regular basis. Hope this helps!

If I would've read your post more carefully, I would've clearly seen that you live in NJ :) Anyway, the currently logged certification sessions are in Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco, and Chicago for this year. Again, there may be others depending upon if local gyms want to host certification sessions (which is not unusual).

I'm not Cathe, but I am BodyPump Certified. Just for your information Body Training Systems (BTS) and Les Mills split and went their separate ways effective June. BTS now has their own line of certifications. Group Power is their equivalent to Les Mills' BodyPump.

You can locate upcoming training for BodyPump by going to www.LesMills.com and looking on their calendar of events/training. If your interested in BTS, you can access their site www.BTS.com.

Our facility stayed with Les Mills so I am still teaching BodyPump. Unless things have changed (which I'm pretty sure they have not), your gym must be licensed with Les Mills in order for you to be certified with them. Same thing goes for BTS.

Good luck. I love BodyPump. I have been certified for four years now and it is very popular at our gum.
