10 degree lean

Hi Cathe,

I just did S & H biceps and triceps and I am not sure if I did the 10 degree lean correctly. Can you explain this?

Thanks,
Joyce

PS - How is Eric? Is he saying any words yet? My 18 month old has been fascinated with eveyone's shoes lately, its fun watching him try on a pair of flip-flops while he is still wearing his socks ;-)

Hi Joyce! Start in your neutral stance (shoulders back and down, arms at your sides, core area braced, spine in neutral position). Keeping this stance, simply tip forward from the hip ever so slightly. It really is a VERY subtle lean.

Eric is so fun. He only utters a few words but in addition to these words he is slurring out some "mumbo jumbo" that sounds like it is shaping into an extended vocabulary. As for shoes, my little guy hates shoes and socks. No matter how securely I fasten his shoes, my little wizard finds a way out. Thank goodness it is warm out now so that I can leave him shoeless most times.

I think I was doing the lean right but I need reminders for the neutral stance.

Isn't it funny that the "mumbo jumbo" is something only Mom recognizes? Michael is singing songs more than saying words, I can recognize the tune but no one else does :) I think he sings "Baa,Baa Black Sheep" perfectly!
