Using cable with iPhone

I had been watching downloads on my TV by burning them, yesterday I decided to purchase the component cable at the apple store- I synched a few videos to my iPhone, and it worked like a charm.

My 9-yr old even started watching her favorite you tube videos using her iPod touch, and downloaded the original Wonder Woman TV episodes (Mom's personal favorite!)

I got the one with 5 jacks, and a usb port, it even charges the device while playing- which was a concern of mine, didn't want to suck my battery dry first thing in the morning before work.

I haven't started playing with the workout blender yet, but this seemed like a reasonable way to watch my downloads for now. I am still considering Apple TV, but not till the future.

If you were on the fence about how you were going to watch downloaded videos on your tv, this may be a good option, cost about $40.

What I purchased was the AV Digital Adapter (meant for Ipad but also works with the phone) and I also had to get an HDMI cable. This device will mirror everything on your Ipad to the TV, but I mainly got it to display downloads onto my TV.
