Unable to Sync STS Cardio Downloads to iPod

The STS Cardio Downloads will not sync to my iPod.
I am using ITunes 9.0.3 (15) version and have a Classic Video iPod.

I have tried to manually copy the files. They simply won't copy. There is no error message.

I have tried "Create iPod Version" and that seems to work. But aren't these supposed to be "iPod ready" files? The conversion is really really slow.

I have purchased 40 workouts in addition to the STS Cardio.

Please advise, I don't want to have to convert all these files.

We are aware of the issue. The problem you and others are seeing on some iPods is caused by a bug in the latest release of iTunes. We worked on this problem until late last night and we think we have a fix for the problem, but we need to test further and will know more either later today or tomorrow. If you're having an issue syncing to your iPod please hold off downloading until we are sure this problem is fixed.

I opened a Support ticket as well. I just downloaded one of the 40 workouts that I had purchased a few weeks ago and had no problem syncing it. So I have lots of options in the mean time.

I just went to the download link again. It doesn't say anything about the problem or whether it has been fixed. I didn't receive an email either.

You should have really let people know via the download site or email. I wasted a good chunk of my download limit as I downloaded all of them at once.

Well I have all of mine on the Ipod now, but hope it will get fixed for others, because it took a long, long time.

I downloaded all the STS cardio workouts this morning and they all synced to my ipod touch with no problems. Don't know if that means the bug has been fixed but thought I would let you know it worked for me. All the chapter points are there as well.

I have a 3rd generation touch and using itunes version 9.1.0.79

The only problem is with the Shock Cardio workouts. These workouts use an updated Apple encoder that until the recent iTunes update worked just fine. Something changed in the latest update of iTunes that is now causing a problem with videos created using the more recent apple encoder. We know what the problem is and as soon as we can, we will upload new files that will solve the issue that many of you are seeing.

What happens to us who have already downloaded our free Shock Cardio files from your site? I would like to be able to have the option to download the fixed files so I can retain the chapter points, etc. I had downloaded all of them and with Dorothy's great investigation converted them so they would sync to my iPod. BUT I would really like to have the fixed version instead. Will you allow us to redownload them if we have already downloaded the unfixed versions? Thanks so much for your help! Also, if there is any way you can send us all an e-mail making us aware of the problem and the fix and how we can go about redownloading them that would be really helpful! Thanks again!

Just wait until we give the all clear sign and download again.
