I have done Yoga Relax several times, and in fact, after hiking a pretty strenuous hike. IMO, I think it would be beneficial to do before a half marathon. Not an expert, but I'm a pretty seasoned exerciser! HTH!

My first & new PR 1:48 for half marathon. I am so proud of my self, my goal was to finish 2hrs.
I ate carbs & hydrate 2 days prior to the race, did not get enough sleep because I was nervous. Woke up 3am! Got ready & drove 1 hr to the place. It was cold but nice. I felt so good when started then on 2nd mile my anterior tibialis tendon acting up but kept running & it went away, yay! I was dying at 10 miles I said to myself you can do it! Do sprint! Yeah right! My legs were feeling numb but made it to the finish line!
I walk a little bit but had a lot of cramping on my calves, back, thigh & front of my legs. I tried to stretch but seems to get worst so I just kept walking.

Thank you ladies! I did yoga relax this am because I am beyond sore from the race...bending forward was tough! I want to do some light exercise tomorrow like LIC but I don't know coz I can hardly walk! I saw YouTube " day after marathon" it is hilarious because I can totally relate to those people!
