First of all, I appreciate the stretching and the poses from this workout. It is a good break from all the discs and cycling. I will do this workout again.
Second, this yoga workout is SO much different than my Yoga class I took freshman year of college. My class focused on muscle extension without large movements and I would leave the class in pure sweat. It was back in the EARLY 1980s. Are there different types of Yoga? Does it matter where the Master or Teacher learned? I think my instructor may have studied in Mumbai/Bombay, India. Is that possible? Very curious about this. TIA for any information to enlighten me. |

There are MANY different types of yoga. And within each type, each instructor is going to be different. We need Vee to chime in on your post.

Through Google search, I found my college Yoga class was Astanga or Ashtanga. I remember the breathing and small muscle movements. Yoga Relax and Yoga Max are different than what I did back then. From my reading, it seems like Power Yoga or a hybrid. Any info. will be helpful. Thanks.
