Default Yoga Relax

First of all, I appreciate the stretching and the poses from this workout. It is a good break from all the discs and cycling. I will do this workout again.
Second, this yoga workout is SO much different than my Yoga class I took freshman year of college. My class focused on muscle extension without large movements and I would leave the class in pure sweat. It was back in the EARLY 1980s.
Are there different types of Yoga? Does it matter where the Master or Teacher learned? I think my instructor may have studied in Mumbai/Bombay, India. Is that possible? Very curious about this. TIA for any information to enlighten me.

There are MANY different types of yoga. And within each type, each instructor is going to be different. We need Vee to chime in on your post.

Through Google search, I found my college Yoga class was Astanga or Ashtanga. I remember the breathing and small muscle movements. Yoga Relax and Yoga Max are different than what I did back then. From my reading, it seems like Power Yoga or a hybrid. Any info. will be helpful. Thanks.
