They are AWESOME on carpet! In fact, I favor using them on carpet! They work great on wood/vinyl surfaces too, but I just love the sleek, glass-like slide n glide motion that you get with carpet....it's addicting

Cathe, I am SO glad to hear that!! My workout space is all carpeted!
