Perhaps logging in the calories burned, how long we are in our zones?

So, the "free" version of Polar HRM software is web-based (flash based) that can be found at https://www.polarpersonaltrainer.com/frontend/. Now, you guys are already supporting a calendar form it seems on the workout manager so that aspect up the website is already taken care of. But currently, using a SonicLink (yes, I said sonic, I'm amazed that this is via sound too) we can upload our stats from our HRMs to the web. So, it will log in what exercise we did, how long we did it, how many calories we burned, zones, etc. If we could upload this with our workouts it could be 1) useful for calculating calories burned for the day as in with our nutrition stuff...so you log in your food an subtractthe calories burned, or 2) keep track which workouts keep you burning for how long...so, for example, I average around 500-550 calories when I do C&W but I burn around 600 when doing SB. It's pretty nice for people who need to obsess (like me) about logging in your exercises. I think its probably the most powerful in conjuction with people who try to monitor their calorie consumption/burn on a daily basis.
I don't know how feasible this can be for the website...I imagine you would have to get into some kind of agreement with Polar but I've seen third party software that supports some of the Polar HRMs. Btw, I have an F11 too!! (Hope this helps) |

Yes!! I use a polar HRM for every workout. I track the:
- duration of the workout, - calories burned, - average HR and - Maximum heartrate for each workout. I would love to be able to add these statistics my workout manager.
