I have not tried superset but my friend use it and it is very beneficial for his muscles building. He told me that performing back to back workouts with no rest you will be saving a lot more time and be able to complete your workouts more quickly. I have heard about its different types also which are Single body part supersets, Antagonist supersets,Staggered sets etc.

I love these ones. I've incorporated them into my Insanity rotation so I've been doing them lately. They are both short (one is 45 minutes and the other is 53 minutes or something like that) but effective. She hits some muscle groups in these that don't get used much in some of her other workouts. Compared to other workouts where Cathe tells you what weight she is using, I find that the weights Cathe suggests are light, so I need to go heavier than she does, but as long as I do that I feel I get a good workout.
