Can't re-edit notes in the WM

I wrote this on another post, but maybe it got buried:

this doesn't seem to work for me. I can click on the "+" and the note appears, but, it is not editable. Is this only my problem?

Once I have created a note, I do see the "+", but the note is no longer editable. My original note was written during release 2.5.1, but, after release 2.6.1, I see this problem is still there. Is anyone else seeing this?
