When I add a work out to the calendar one of the things that fills in is the MET value. Does anyone know what that is? Thanks.

It is number used to measure the intensity of an exercise or activity. The higher the number the more intense the exercise is. A complete rest is signified by a MET value of 1. Step aerobics on an 8 inch step has a Met value of about 8.5. We use this number in the Workout Manager to determine calories burned.

Thank you very much! I appreciate the response. I figured it was something like that, but I'm one of those people who likes to verify things. <wink>
And, please accept my thanks for all the great work you all do on this site. It's really tremendous! I love the new site, the workout manager, all of it. It's fantastic! anne
