Question Rotations Feature ~ Marking A Workout As Completed

I created the first week of a rotation and had it automatically entered onto my calendar. In playing around with it, I find that I can't seem to mark a workout as completed. Although the workouts show up on the calendar view, when you click on the date there is no workout shown as being scheduled.

Is this something you're still working on to make functional?

I was thinking the same thing... thanks Nancy for reading my mind

I am having a few other issues in WM and the new November rotation not getting the calender to work just right, but wondered how to mark my workouts complete, too!

have you had any issues making changes to the rotation?

You just have to go back to the "Edit Rotations" window and check the box next to any completed workout. To go to the "Edit Rotations" window just right click on the rotation icon in your calendar. If the icon is a non STS workout you will go directly to the "Edit Rotations" window. If the icon is an STS workout then you will need to click on the view Edit Rotation button that is located at the bottom of the window that launches when you right click on an STS workout icon.

Default Still Not Working

None of this is working for me. When I right-click on the icon of the workout that says "Rotation" that is shown on the date on the calendar I just get the usual Windows menu with options such as saving the graphic, etc.

When I go to the "Rotations" tab at the top of the WM window and go through all of the steps to edit a rotation I created and then select the rotation and then select "Next" nothing happens. I remain on the window with the list of rotations.

If I am understanding the directions correctly, even if this was working it seems like a lot of steps to have to go through to mark a rotation workout as completed.

Hi Nancy:

You should be able to do it right from your calendar in WM. I just tried it and it came up for me... I sometimes wonder if personal computer settings sometimes have something to do with whether a program works or not...

what I did was open WM, select Calendar, and right click on the DVD logo/picture (not the # date like for we did for an entered daily) on the day you want to mark complete and you get the 4 arrow pointer, then right click, and it should bring up the Rotation list. Right under the date line is a box that says "Click Check Box to mark day as completed" and you click the box in front of the day completed...

Also, see if it has opened a window behind the calendar or current page you are viewing... It should open a separate window to display the rotation week list (so make sure your pop-up blocker is set to allow pop-ups)

at least this one worked for me now if I didn't have to do 6 workouts on thursday I'd be all set! lol!

Dani, I tried all of that before I posted previously and none of it worked for me at the time. However, I just tried it again and it is working. Go figure. And now that the "right-click" option is working it does indeed to straight to the rotation and not through the wizard steps and is quick and easy. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I agree about it being tempermental so far -- I don't think it's our computers. It's a very powerful tool and when it is complete and working consistently will be invaluable. It's clear a lot of hard work and thought has gone into its creation. I look forward to each upgrade.

Hi Nancy and Dani,

Just piping in here...I have used the "rotation" button and then "edit" my rotation and checked the box next to the date on the rotation list and hit update. It does show the rotation picture in "orange" as completed on the calendar..BUT...go to "stats" and there is nothing completed in the way of a workout at all! ANOTHER GLITCH!?

I will try the right click thing to see if that will work and update the stats....

Heidi
