I see today that there are two columns of rotations listed from which you can choose to download. I also see that a weeklong "test" rotation that I created is shown as being available for downloading. Is this something only I can see (which I doubt is the case) or that everyone can see? I have that particular preference "unchecked" in my profile. In other words, I do not want anything I create to be available for viewing. I also did not check the box to upload it when I created it. Again, this was just something I was playing with and don't like the idea that something I considered personal/private is available for public viewing.

I think you can delete a rotation you have created by following the delete instructions you will find when clicking the link above. I haven't tested this yet, so I'm not 100% sure it will work.... but let us know. |

My Recorded Workouts My Workouts Being Done Today Also, there must be a glitch in your system, as I very specifically have not clicked on: Upload & Share

I understand now about the Create A Workout preference. However, the privacy issue of not having clicked on the button to upload and share the rotation and having it appear for public view has not been addressed. It makes me leery of creating anything of my own, which is a shame. It's not like I would be putting anything profane or objectionable into the comments area, but I would like to use it for personal notes on my progress that I would prefer not to have viewed.

The description fields when you create a rotation are meant to be used to further describe details of the workout, not personal notes. Once you have downloaded a shared rotation, even one you have created, anything you write in the description fields will only be viewable to you. Still, I would suggest writing personal details about your workout in the "workout details" window. This will be active in a few more days. When you right click on a rotation icon the workout details window will appear instead of the edit rotations window. I also ran a test in which I did not check the "upload and share" box on a rotation I created and then clicked save. The rotation I created did what is supposed to and did not upload to where other registered users could use or see it. Last edited by SNM Videos; 11-07-2008 at 11:17 PM.. |

[quote=SNM Videos;1777525]I'm not sure what you mean? The only way someone can see a rotation you have created is to check the upload and share box. Our user guidelines are very clear that clicking on "Share" will allow other users to see the rotation you have created. This is the whole idea of this feature. If you don't want others to see a rotation you have created then you just click "Publish to Calendar" and don't select "share". Perhaps this is where you're confused?
quote] I'm not confused at all. I perfectly understand that clicking on the Upload & Share button will make the rotation public. I did not do this, yet my rotation was uploaded and shared with the public. Clearly, we are not going to get to the bottom of this, so I'll drop it and give the program time to settle down before I attempt any rotations of my own.
