Every once in awhile I will log onto the forums and every thread is marked as having no new posts since my last visit, which is not the case at all. I always log in to read the forum and don't exercise the option of "marking all posts as read." What gives?

And today I'm getting the opposite problem -- there are posts on threads that I have not read, yet the envelope icons show nothing is new.
